A seminar "Export of Ukrainian meat and dairy products: challenges and opportunities" was held on June 9 at the largest agro-industrial exhibition of Ukraine AGRO-2017.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Participants of the seminar - Ukrainian producers and exporters of meat and dairy products learned about consumer trends in the world and place of Ukraine in the international market, got acquainted with successful cases of export to Sub-Saharan Africa and MENA region, and also studied the practice of identifying the markets with the greatest demand for a particular product. In addition, the participants learned the main components of successful participation in international exhibitions.
Speakers of the conference were UFEB director Bogdan Shapoval, independent expert of FAO Vladimir Gontar, food export expert Dmitry Shulmeyster, owner of ISPIRE DISTRIBUTION enterprise Natalia Zakryachenko (South Africa) and head of OUTVED company Mikhail Lesnyak.
