In 2016, Ukrainian gardeners increased the export of stone fruits (apricots, cherries, plums, peaches and thorns) in comparison with 2015 by 2.1 times - to 1.88 thousand tons. In terms of value, exports increased by 59% and amounted to 870.6 thousand dollars, the analytical department of the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reported.

In January of this year, Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) organized technical support for the visit of the Chinese delegation to inspect the Ukrainian beet pulp factories, as a result of which the leading manufacturer of this product, Astarta-Kiev, received permission to export to the PRC.

In January-March 2017, the export of dairy products from Ukraine amounted to 25.7 thousand tons, which is 37% more than in the first quarter of 2016, the analytical department of the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reported.

In 2016, Ukrainian producers of fish and other aquatic biological resources increased export by 39% compared to 2015 – up to $ 21.8 million from $ 15.7 million, according to the Ukrainian Food Export Board Analytical Department (UFEB) .

Exports of sugar confectionery (excluding cocoa content) from Ukraine in 2016 increased by 2% compared to 2015 and by 15% - compared to the year 2014, amounting to 77.5 thousand tons.
